The Yamaha AN1x Synthesizer mailing list

According to the web site they're trying to make it in the "$2k" range.

Although it's tried and true subtractive synthesis via true analog generation as
its basis (including 2 analog oscillators and 2 digital), its got great
potential.  Listen to some of the sound demos.  The sequencer is applied to the
filter in a lot of them, reminding me of the free envelope filter in the AN1x.

Considering the 8 years since the release of the AN1x, you would think that a
Super VA would have been released by now with super polyphony and extremely
innovative design.  Can't say I've seen anything like this at the stores lately.
