Yes, I can understand the business point of view, but it's one of the 
long-standing criticisms of Access, and they're not doing anything about 
it. Their business is not my problem. The user interface *is*.

There are no more rack versions coming, one reason being that all use 
the same boards. But you can rack up the desktop. The connectors can 
swing for that very purpose.

Yeah... well. I've owned a Yamaha EX5R and now have an EX5S, and they 
have different motherboards. So it's not unheard off, even though the 
machines have exactly the same buttons.

I wonder what Yamaha had put in the AN1r before they canned the project.
