Hi Ed, and thank you for this warm welcome. I just had to share my feeling happy risking to bore anybody on the forum. And instead such an embrace. The sounds, I dont even know if they are factory buying second hand. What I know is, Im intersted in what a machine can do, what it can sound like. And through the years I found you have to turn off as much as possible:no FX,detune, second osc(except for FM/Sync) if you really wanna hear it. I came across the AN1X trying to help my brother, who was looking for an VA. Hes not really a synthesist, and Ihad been reading German "Keyboards" and "Keys" for years. Now I took all the magazines demos into WinAmp letting them play randomly. And each time I found myself looking, "which synth is this" it was the mean blue machine. Most astounding I find: the features list of Roland, Clavia and others is much longer BUT...! Thanks for all your hints and links and I promise I will report on my progress.
