"without music, life would be a mistake" ----- Original Message ----- From: uralmoto2001 To: AN1x-list@yahoogroups.com Sent: Wednesday, November 23, 2005 8:19 AM Subject: [AN1x] Re: programming "realistic" orchestra patches The shark music from "Jaws" would be much easier ;-) That "cello edge" patch was one of a dozen or so an1x patches I copied on the Ion. Later I found a Micron preset(the Yo-Yo Ma's) that was closer to a real cello. I was going to copy more an1x patches over to Ion, but there are too many differences between the two. Quite a few an1x patches use hard sync/FM at same time. An1x has same osc serving as sync master and FM modulator; this cannot be done on Ion, which is also missing the osc "edge" parameter. I have the plg150an, and I'm constantly suprised how versatile it can be... best $240. I ever spent. - -- Steve [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
