Fix: Outboard compressor. I know some may give me heat for saying this, but it can help prevent needless speaker damage, at least from an automatic standpoint.

I find this problem in many synths. Filters cut the volume. Effects add to the volume. Feedback also adds to the volume. I usually turn the volume way down
