Roland, Had you ever heard of "Little League" before I mentioned it? Or do you know that car racing is the most attended live sporting event in America? I repeat: "innocent, honest question". Here's one for you, "Why are fireworks displayed on our Independence Day?" Is it because we're celebrating the fact we can nuke the entire world into pudding if we so desire? Ed (Answer: Fireworks remind us of a verse from our national anthem, which recalls when England invaded Baltimore in 1814, and a prisoner on a British ship was able to see the flag still flying over the fort whenever a bomb exploded.) Commentary: The general ignorance and arrogance of the average citizen of this world is disgusting. That's why I'm more excited about the next life than this one. ON TOPIC: Can't find a dam bit of difference between the new 1.04 ROM and the 1.02. If anyone wants to know how to replace the chip it goes like this: 1. Turn it over. Take ALL 33 screws out of the bottom. 2. Lift of the metal bottom. Find the chip. It's the largest one on the visible circuit board. 3. Get a small flat blade screwdriver (or chip puller tool) and CAREFULLY work it between the chip and the socket on the right side first. The left side is sorta cramped, but you can get the edge of the tool there as well. Just a little at a time, push the chip out alternating right side, then left. 4. Press in the new chip. CAREFUL - make sure all pins are in all holes before pressing down. 5. Replace metal bottom and insert all screws. 6. Power it up. None of your patches will be lost! 7. Breathe easy and remember that when you were inside there you saw the battery. Now you know where it is, and how easily it it replaced when you need to. 8. Breathe heavily remembering that the upper case is made of plastic and will not take very many cycles of screw removal/reinstallation before the holes in it are ruined. (But this also can be fixed... so breathe easy again.) 9. Start making your dam music again and stop trying to be a technician.
