Has anyone tried running the AN1X through an outboard filter, like
amoogerfooger? Is there a dramatic difference in tone?

Just curious.

I run my AN-200 through Waldorf 4-pole via AUX just to soften the sound up.
Makes my newbie funnybox sound like megasynth, gets a friend of me, owner
of Supernova II to gasp his mouth in awe =)

Hey Jimmy
I've got a fooger and we pump the an1 thru it all the time. The
change is unreal going to a filter after the amp changes things.
With the fooger in the chain the anx has 3 filters to go through.
It is great 24db lp filter mono though. I also have a micro Q and it
has open stereo filters that are the cleanest i've heard short of a
sherman filter bank. Lemme know I can send u some sounds out of the
fooger.
cheers
Jonathan
