If the AN150 was used in any of the following units Plugstation of any of yamaha's hardware synths, will it offer variable morphing and 2 scene control like Anx1 or AN200.

No, the PLG150AN board does not allow this in any unit you plug it into. As
I said a few days ago, "the units are identical with the exception of
morph/scene control and the factory "sounds" and sequences."

The AN board only has one "part" per voice, whereas the AN1x has two. This
means you only get one 5-note polyphonic "scene", as opposed to 2 on the
AN1x and AN200.

I believe there was a utility for Windows that would take two voices and
"morph" them into a new combined voice. I use a Mac, so I have never used
it. It might have been Yamaha's AN Expert Editor. Maybe someone else knows.

Here is a link to the PLG150AN spec's (posted a couple of days
ago) that also contains a link to Yamaha's PLG150AN page
where you will find all of the above facts reiterated.

I believe you are thinking of Genetix - a Win shareware app for
creating random patch generations. You'll find a copy in the Files
section here at Yahoo! Groups:
