the an1x sequencer is a little tough to use, but if you write out the notes you want on paper it can be a little easier. the an1x isnt good for trying to make random sequences that sound good. the 8 control knobs represent steps 1-16. you can plot what notes to play, how hard they play(velocity), and how long(gate time). i find the sequencer useful when ihave a good riff in my head, and dont want to play it by hand, or it is too complex or difficult to play by hand...i am not the best pianist. basicaly all your doing is plotting points on a graph. here those points are notes...i dont have alot time right now to go step by step...these are just some things to keep in mind while programming you an1x. peace out.
