Hi folks, Im new to the an1x and have a wee question. When I have scene 1 and 2 lit and I move the mod wheel nothing happens. Should the mod wheel not morph between scenes. Thanks

Thanks Does nothing ever happen, or just with specific voices (Yamaha-speak for what the rest of the world calls 'patches')? If it's the former, check how you've assigned your mod wheel. Maybe it's assigned to a funny number. If it's the latter, well, perhaps the scenes are identical. - Peter

Can't you reassign the "Morph Mod" to another controller than MOD Wheel on a global level ? May be that's the case.. ? Ray.

Yes, you can reassign the Morph function to another controller but I think Peter is closer to the mark in that the two Scenes in the Voice are likey idenitcal. It'seasy enought to determine if this is true - 'oneweemonkey' should assign a different filter type, or even a different FC and Res setting, to each scene and then morph between them. If there is _still_ no audible effect *then* I would review the Morph control settings. ...assign a different filter type, or even a different FC and Res setting, to each scene and then morph between them. Um... :) Assigning a different filter type to one scene will leave the morph non-existant .. AN-1x surely can't morph (unfortunately) between different filter types, in fact, it doesn't morph any -switch- parameters, and it's understandable.. Ray. Digital Illusions. You are correct - it will not morph between filter types but it will morph between different filter cutoff and res settings. Jon

My Modwheel was assigned incorrectly! oneweemonkey
