I use a soft case I bought from Sears for my DW6000 19 years ago. I
try real hard not to bump anything and keep my fingers crossed.

What do you recommend for a case for occassional weekend gigs? I've got
a keyboard bag with no padding (Sears circa 1984)and need to upgrade
from that.

Thank you

Jimmy

I got my hard case (lined with rubbery foam) from some guys in the back
of Keyboard Magazine. It doesn't have a name on it, it's very generic
and atctually a bit larger than the synth but some extra foam has made a
good home. New in 2000 the case was about $60. Look for something
generic and inexpensive, but with metal on the outside. The inside you
can customize as needed in a half hour with "around the house" materials.

Re: [AN1x] case

Hi !
you can get for a few money keyboards "semi hard" padded cases by Stagg
(no ad , i've nothing to deal with these guys) . Take care of the
dimensions given on their website : they are _overall_ dimensions (i.e.
external) ! I've one for my Telecaster guitar , paid 40\ufffd , the keyboard
models are a little bit more expensive . For an AN1X , approximately 50\ufffd
...

case

2007-06-15 by spaceanimals

I just bought a keyboard case from Musician's Friend for $30.00.
Supposedly it has padding and rigid panels. I'll let you know if it
provides more protection than my 20 year old soft case. Oh yeah, it's
red.
