A .mid file is a standard MIDI file. You can use a MIDI Sequencer such as Cubase, Logic,
Digital Performer, etc. to load the file into your AN1x. Some generic SysEx Librarians will
also load .mid files in addition to .syx (system exclusive file).

Commonly used bulk dump utility utilities are MIDI-OX (Win)

and SysEx Librarian (Mac)

A .mid file is a Standard MIDI File containing sys-ex commands. They
cannot be loaded into the editor.

Load it into a sequencer connected to the AN1x and hit PLAY.

Once the MIDI file has been sent, the AN1X should have the patches
programmed into the user bank. Then upload that bank into the editor.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
