how does the an200 compare to the an1x?

how does the an200 compare to the an1x?

2005-03-19 by Matt

I have an an1x and I like the sound but I hate the interface even
though an1xedit is awesome and makes it easier I just don't seem to
get along with it
I haven't programmed really anything with it.
So I am going to sell it
First I was just going to buy like an ms2000 or something cheap in
that price range
But then I was looking at the an200 and it seemed to be a good option
right now I have a nord lead 3 and a bunch of soft synths

I could use an external drum machine(external from my PC)
so I thought the an200 would be cool cause I would get the sounds of
the an1x plus a drum machine
I have a question though

I know there is a pc editor for the an200 but can you access all of
the an200's features with out it?

AN1xEdit will work with the AN200. I might be mistaken but I don't believe any of the
editors allow you to program the Rhythm section of the A200, i.e., drum parts - think tha
has to be accomplished from the front panel, but you can access all the Voice parameters,
