Sorry i didn't get back with my efforts at ressurecting my an200. Anyway, she's working fine now! As it turned out, it wasn't in any way corrupted, i had merely stopped the download before it had finished. I now understand that the first part of the sysex file contains the header and general information. It then pauses at the point i mentioned, before springing back into life with another burst of downloading. It stops several times during the process, presumably to digest and play with what it's just recieved and carries on with the next packet. If only i had waited another 30 seconds during my first go at it, all would have been okay! I can't be sure if it's to do with my new soundcard or whether the AN200 actually sounds a little better with the new OS upgrade? Has anyone else noticed anything different post-upgrade?
