Hi! Sorry to hear you are having hard times with the hard drive:-) Don't
know what to say. Regarding the list: this particular list ( the Atari-MIDI
archives...however I am copying Atari-MIDI on this mail.) is basically for
storing files and the messages are just "notifications" that a file has been
uploaded. To get into the beef of the matter, you need to send your mail to

atari-midi@yahoogroups.com

This is the main Atari-MIDI forum, while this group ( the Atari-MIDI
Archives)is just for "notification" of uploads. Unfortuneatly, our archives
are getting pretty full at the moment! :-)

YES...there are many users who do not have real Atari's but use Steem and
run the more "unusual" left handed Atari apps that you would be hard pressed
to find on the PC format. There are some members who use Steem running KCS
as thier main sequencer and use Hubbies loopback to control softsynths on
the same PC!

However, a real Atari can still be useful in the studio, even DISC only
stuff (no Hard drive) as there are lots of programs that run fine by disc.

well...it would be nice to make a little money with our stuff...but looks
like we have to find our own paths on how to do it!
