Re: [atari-midi-archives] Akai S612 Sample Dump / Editor

Wow, this dug up some memories for me. Unfortunately, i do not have any copies of Softsynth, but i do remember it well. It was waaaay ahead of it's time in the late 80s/early 90s. A nice Mac II with a NuBus Digidesign Audiomedia board, a copy of Softsynth and you have a poor man's (not too poor actually) Fairlight. At least for back then.

If anyone does come across any copies of Softsynth, i would also be interested.

Best of luck to you,
/KRM

After reading an early Ensoniq Transoniq zine from 1986, I discovered some software that will communicate with the Akai S612, Mirage, Emax and Emulator II. I'm trying to find Softsynth by Digidesign for Atari/Mac. If anybody knows where i can find/purchase/trade this I would be very grateful.
