Copying disks!

2003-12-09 by peter71_uk

Been using my atari for ages now for music production but can't copy
disks very well! Even with some of the copy programs?! Is there any
way to get round the problem of atari disks being of a
different 'make'?

I would use PC DOS formatted discs so you can also read them on PC and your
Atari can read them too. See my FAQ page on my site.

Hi Peter,
You shouldn't be having these problems if you're using something like
Fastcopy with Atari format disks. I would hazard a guess that your
disk drive might be on the way out if you're copying to and from the
Atari. If you're having problems with DOS formats then Tim has
answered your question.
Barrie at Keychange can provide replacement disk drives.

Best wishes,

David.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
