Why is it required to be flash.  There are I2C EEPROM's supporting
over 1 million write cycles.  This for me is more than sufficient. 
i.e. 24LC256

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
