A problem with Bluetooth is that it has tried to be everything to everyone, and got so bloated no one without a huge budget can afford its overhead. Based on my readings several years ago Bluetooth has accurate delivery methods for what you describe above but also has guaranteed- rate delivery which sacrifices data integrity. Drop a few bits in your Bluetooth headset and the last thing you want is for them to be delivered accurate but late.
