Oh, yes, there is English on it, but the actual programming software, i.e to put the program onto the avr chip, is in german. I was just wondering if other programming flashing software could be used. Debugging is nothing I have really thought abouty. The actual purpose of the device is to control a rotator for antennas, to take commands from a computer, and turn the antennas accordingly, and to display information on a lcd screen. Mabye im thinking it's a little more simple then it is. I suppose I should really go buy a beginners book. Im 16, and don't have very much money hanging about, so I bought the cheapest I could find! Maybe those are in English? -----Original Message----- From: ei5gtb <paul@paulsnet.org <mailto:paul%40paulsnet.org> > To: AVR-Chat@yahoogroups.com <mailto:AVR-Chat%40yahoogroups.com> Sent: Wed, 19 Mar 2008 8:47 am Subject: [AVR-Chat] My Avr Hello, i recently purchased a "my avr" board from http://www.myavr.de/ But much to my disappointment the programming application was in german. I am just a beginner, and was hoping to use this board to educate myself. Could anyone advise if this board can be used with other programming software? and if so, which is the best recommended one. Many Thanks, Paul. ------------------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Links [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
