AVR-Chat

Once again I return. I have gotten the sp12 to run grand! Thanks for the
link, it connects straight up, and away we go. But which program should I
use to convert my c code into hex for programming vioa my sp12 programmer. I
tried using studio, but it asks me what device I am using.

That is a parallel programmer. AFAIK, Studio only supports USB or
serial programmers.

That said, googling for AVR SP12 programmer yielded this link:

There is also avrdude:

If you are running MS Windows, avrdude comes with WinAVR (GCC for the
AVR.)

If you would like to use Studio, I would strongly recommend sticking
with the current AVR Studio 4 rather than the older Studio 3.
