What has happened in the past is that people with product to sell make an entry on the "Links" page (you'll see several there), perhaps post an announcement but then generally refrain from actually "selling" in an intrusive manner.  If a poster just obviously needs a certain product, the seller will mention it but in a non-pushy way.
