I discovered a long time ago that all you have to do is enter a part number
into Google and it will come up with lots of data on many parts. And lots of
suppliers in Hong Kong and China.
:-)

A lot of companies are now defunct and it's hard to find data sheets on
their components by this method. I have a big handful of various microwave
devices made by companies like Acrotec that are no longer around and a
search of their part numbers yields nothing. A lot of NEC/CEL devices that
are obsolete are difficult to track down unless someone like me saved their
data sheets while they were still available and put them on a website
somewhere.

But most of the currently produced devices come right up when you do a
Google search of the part number. Certainly AVR micros.

Metcalfe's Law is definitely valid in these cases!
