I discovered a long time ago that all you have to do is enter a part number into Google and it will come up with lots of data on many parts. And lots of suppliers in Hong Kong and China. :-) A lot of companies are now defunct and it's hard to find data sheets on their components by this method. I have a big handful of various microwave devices made by companies like Acrotec that are no longer around and a search of their part numbers yields nothing. A lot of NEC/CEL devices that are obsolete are difficult to track down unless someone like me saved their data sheets while they were still available and put them on a website somewhere. But most of the currently produced devices come right up when you do a Google search of the part number. Certainly AVR micros. Metcalfe's Law is definitely valid in these cases! :-] Zack On Sat, Jun 19, 2010 at 9:48 AM, Donald H <donhamilton2002@yahoo.com> wrote: > > > > > --- In AVR-Chat@yahoogroups.com <AVR-Chat%40yahoogroups.com>, "hussein" > <iijfet@...> wrote: > > > > hi dears > > plz tell me how i connect a uC to pc by ADM485 for a full duplex > communication, > > how i can set it to receive data or transmit? should i use 2 ADM485? > > > > By your question, you have not looked at the data sheet for the ADM485. > > Here is a link, > http://www.analog.com/static/imported-files/data_sheets/ADM485.pdf > > Look at figure 30 on page 12. > > Also, http://www.lammertbies.nl/comm/info/RS-485.html > > Google is your friend. > > In the time it took you to wait for my response, you would have had your > answer and would have been on your way to solving your question on your own. > > You will be able to turn in this homework assignment with the knowledge > your professor wanted you to learn. > > good luck > > don > > > [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
