But, I don't see why you should be obliged to learn C if you're happy with pascal (isn't it lower case?) and the kind of projects you'll be working on don't stretch the microcontroller's resources. Maybe you could say more about your intent for pascal on an AVR. Are you working on commercial projects or just for your own interest? Will you use a big AVR such as the ATmega64 or a little one with much less memory? This would help us give the right advice. Graham.
