Yeap DLPortIO is installed (as that is what the programmer wants (even
under win 9.X)

Nope and no printers either (hmmm might go try and install a printer and
see if that helps ;o)

Done that 3 times now.

Will check tomorrow.

Done that.

http://www.lpilsley.freeserve.co.uk/download/port95nt.exe
or
ftp://ftp.keithley.com/pub/metrabyte/unsupport/port95nt.exe

Some laptops have a "windows" parallel port.
partially emulated in software.
Costs a few cents less for ther manufacturer.

Could be a problem

Do you have a meter or even a led so
you can test the outputs from the parallel port ?

Will do that tomorrow.

Tried linux ?
zipslack is easy, can boot from inside windows.

Nope, if I was to try anything it would have to be PicoBSD ;o) (runs
from a floppy :o)
