I remember hearing, a couple of years ago, that they were going to be fazing out all componet parts... Soon after I heard that I saw lots of stuff go on clearance and component shelf space reduce significantly. Everytime I go in a RS there seems to be a few less "components" and antennas and more audio, computer, power, and cell adaptors and accessories. My guess is that this is another one of their big reduction sales (like the clearances I saw before) where the amount of shelf space will be further reduced in the near future. I think that RS will stop selling components with in the next few years (they just can't be making enough money off of them to justify the stock space/time), but it looks like they are taking the slow and gradual route so who knows exactly when.
