I think the cost of UV parts was they need to be
made in a ceramic package - that's what I read at least.
Flash love plastic so it id cheaper

I think all the AVR's use flash programming.
I asked this question on AVR-club but I don't think I ever got an answer
there. Has anyone used a mega16 with a 20 MHz crystal? The specs rate it
up to 16 MHz but the UART section in the data sheet lists 20 MHz as a
possible frequency.
