Do never attempt to dilute it with alcohol or glycerine, you will experience a bad experience ;-9.. (All the painstakenly placed components jump of the board like popcorn when heated). Maybe one day i find out what can dilute it without that problem.... If you paste is "wet" enough to work, and solders ok, there is no long term disadvantage to be expected. ST
