Subject: [AVR-Chat] AVRFREAKS weirdness + expired solder paste
G'day all
Avrfreaks site seems to be misbehaving the last 2 days,
at least for me. Does anyone else have a similar problem
wityh the site? I can get into the main page but when
I go to the forum page it locks up IE (not responding)
and I have to kill the task and relaunch IE.I have the same problem. Strangely, it works OK with Mozilla.
2nd topic (2 topics in one saves ink) I got some
solder past last year and didn't use it. The expiry
date was July 04 so, having nothing to lose I tried it
out yesterday and it seems to do it's thing pretty well,
it magically changes from gue stuff to solder under heat,
so what is the problem using it? Do the components fall
off in time or what? I have put it in the old fridge now
waiting your learned opinions as to it's fate :-)I got an outdated tub of paste as a free sample at a show last year. It's been in the bottom of the fridge all the time. I keep meaning to try it.Leon--Leon Heller, G1HSM
