Similar here. I use an HP 54112D quad *color* (woo hoo) digital scope mainly. Great scope - 100MHz bandwidth, but fast-ass (400MSa/s) capture rate and deep memory. I also have an HP 54501a 100MHz scope - smaller, and has nice TV triggering and X vs. Y math. You have the 54501 (no A) and that's a 1GHz scope ? > Logic analyser great when debugging micros. > easy to use and easy to carry. > http://www.rockylogic.com/products/ant8.html > http://www.rockylogic.com/products/ant8spec.html Yeah, I looked at the RockyLogic stuff. I have an older Tek 1241 color logic analyzer, which is very nice. Big and bulky though, only good for the bench. Powerful and friendly to use for an older piece. You can find them on ebay at reasonable prices. Dean.
