BEC = shite! Yeah, quote me on that. I've done a lot of business with
them in the last 4 years too, so I'm speaking from experience. If BEC
want to complain about that, then first let them reply to my recently
emailed, and unanswered complaints.

They have stuffed up too many times. if it's not badly etched boards
(shorts, opens ..), it's badly routed panels. They redid one proto
panel for me a while ago, but, they didn't even get back to me when
they stuffed up my most recent prototype panel.

I get all my production boards from these professional people in
Queanbeyan :

   http://www.lintek.com.au/

If you factor Lintek's 100% tested PCBs (BEC charge extra) they have
actually worked out cheaper than BEC. And I'll never recover the
ill-will BEC generated among my customers after we shipped some kits
(DIY kits are a part of our business) that had PCBs where maybe 10%
had faults.

   BEC = Rapid, Reliable, Responsive.

   Nah, BEC = Rabid, un-Reliable, un-Responsive

BTW, I just realised that Austronics 2005 will be at HOMEBUSH not at
Darling Harbour as in previous years.

And, as I'm making complaints, I'll include professional tag line ...
