Hi folks,

I am sending this message out of desperation. :)

I am trying to find a special toggle switch, SPST, but with a
electromagnetic latch.

I want it to spring to 'off' normally, and when it is turned on, a
magnetic to hold it in place.

I could then de-energise the magnet to get it to flick back off again.

It is identical to the operation of the switch on an automatic kettle.

Does anyone know if this type of thing is available off the shelf?

The magnet can be any voltage, the switch is only switching 5 volts,
negligible current.

I have done some Google searches but have failed to find anything
useful.
