And remember if in any sort of commercial production your local Atmel
distributors are your best bet for pricing and support. Digi-Key is
great for quickie pricing and selection as in moments you have a real
quote and real inventory status, therefore knowing you can get those
parts at that price in short time. Your local distributor should beat
those prices.

Some Digi-Key (and Mouser) prices are very close to what local
distributors can do. Sometimes 2 to 4 times over what local distributors
can do.
