As the writer of this original message, and a resident of the Southern 
United Sates of America, I can assure you that there is a pretty fer 
difference between the expression "down yonder" and the expression "down 
under" to which you apparently take offense.

As for your resentment, perhaps one might also remind you that unless 
you are a resident of these United States of America you might just keep 
your opinions to yourself unless you would like to come here and 
participate as a citizen.  Until the day comes that you have fought for 
this nation, perhaps to see friends and family members die for it and 
all it stands for, you really ought to mind your own business.  And yes, 
I have.

As for the direction in which your head points, I suspect that it may be 
pointing upwards toward the sky but the question remains...what 
obstacles are in the way of the sun shining on your face and what odors 
waft across your nostrils due to its physical location?
