Well, I'm pretty disgusted by this turn of events. 
Unfortunately I can't unwind the clock. I've contacted Roy privately, 
and talked to him about it.

A gentle nudge from a list admin OUGHT to be enough warning to tone it 
down, even if YOU don't think it's necessary.  This list is not known 
for draconian moderation, nor will it be.  I broke away from Kalle's 
original AVR list, and started the group that would become this list 
years ago, because of that sort of moderation.

I would hope that the others involved would at least have the civility 
to contact Roy privately, and apologize.
