Here in Texas we have a grocery chain called "Fiesta".  There, you can 
get all sorts of international foodstuffs, including Vegemite.  (You 
can also get Marmite if you are British).  If you did not grow up with 
the stuff, I do not recommend it.   I've tried it and it is NASTY.
