I carried a jar of Vegemite with me when I holidayed overseas last year.
On passing thru customs on returning, I presented at the "something to
declare" counter and declared I had a "foodstuff"
(There are stiff fines for bringing most foods into Aust)
I told them I had half a jar of vegemite that I taken with me that
originated in Australia. They laughed and let me thru without
inspecting any of my other goodies such as the kg of cocaine that I
might have had in my luggage!
