AW: [AVR-Chat] Cellphone "loudspeaker"?

2006-06-20 by Klaus Ruebsam

Hi Jim,

you might want to look for manufacturers of Loco-sounddecoders. They have
loudspeakers for H0-scale and even N-scale (which would be about the size as
of a cellphone speaker.

Here some links (unfortunately they are both in Germany, but the pictures
might help your local dealers to browse their right catalogues.

Or look for cellphone _surplus_ at your local dealers! *bay might also be a
source to look at.

Betreff: [AVR-Chat] Cellphone "loudspeaker"?

I'm working on a big AVR project (a data radio) and need a small "loud
speaker" for occasional use (error checking during setup, for example).

So, does anyone know what the sound output transducers in cellphones are
called? I've looked in catalogs and have found small tone makers, but no
small voice-grade speakers.

Suggestions of where to look would be appreciated!
Jim, KA7EHK
