Check the specs of your SSR (look up the datasheet on google if you need
to).  SSRs usually trigger with 5 or 10 mA (remember, you're just lighting
up an LED).

Will the solid state relay take less than 20ma to turn it on? If so, 
then yes it will work, if not, no.
