RE: [AVR-Chat] OT Cisco router problems

You may be able to recover it, but it does depend on what measures were put in place. If a router is configured with "no service password−recovery", this disables all access to the ROMMON. To fix the router, you must get a new Cisco IOS software image on a Flash single in−line memory module - a lot more than $100! I have a Cisco 2503 ISDN Router in for service, but I can not test it fully as no one knows the password for the EXEC mode :o( Does anyone know how to blat the config so I can start from scratch ? I have searched Cisco but no luck (they will probably say to return it and they will default it for some nominal fee (like $100 lol) Regards, Kat. --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
