My apologies if this appears multiple times.  Yahoo appears to be blocking 
my posts still.  I'm trying to narrow down what it's tripping on.

Apparently you need to spend some more time learning how to use Yahoo 
Mail.  I've never had a problem editing replies with Yahoo mail and I just 
verified I could still do it.  I would have been astonished if their 
software didn't allow it.
