ATMEGA8 PonyProg Issue Processor not pocessing. [LED not flashing]

2008-04-05 by englsprogeny

I have just setup a new computer.

When I try to program using PonyProg it doesn't take. [the LED
deosn't blink]

I know that the load works.
Fuse setting look correct.
I calibrated PonyProg.

Also tried this on a different board/ processor.

Downloads and verifies OK. [BUT no blinking LED or RS232 interface
(it's not alive)]

I read the image back from the processor to find that it has inserted
[somehow] at address: 0x1B8D a 32 word FFFFFFFF. This is toward the
end of the image.

SO the hex image is now 32 bits longer.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

David
