BL600 series barcode scanner

BL600 series barcode scanner

2004-05-12 by jay marante

i have this barcode scanner from keyence and i don't have the complete datasheet. the datasheet says that the maximum power consumption is 330mA at 5V DC. does this mean that when the scanner is scanning, it consumes that much current? what if the scanner is in standby mode (not scanning)?
second, if i send a "LOFF" ascii (for turning the scanner off), does the scanner reply?
thanks...

Probably only the vendor can tell you.
Even then, they may not know. I've had bad luck even from Symbol, on their products not conforming to the documentation.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
