Has anyone gotten the ATmega32 to function at 16mHz?  I am able to get it to run with a 7.3728 crystal and a 10.000 crystal, but it refuses to start with a 16.000 crystal?
 
Does anyone have any ideas what I might be doing wrong?

Make sure you select the right fuse bits.  At high frequencies you need to
select full blast drive.  The STK500 programmer screen will guide you.
