Hi everyone, I have been working with PICAXE chips/software for about 6 months now and love them - however, they are limitted in performance. I am also learning electronics at the same time as I am learning about these wonderful micros. I am pretty well versed in VB6 programming as well. To get started with the Atmels, I am using BASCOM and the Atmel AtSTK500 board. I also just purchased a variety of chips: Atmega48, Atmega168, Atmega32, Atmega16, and one also came with the ATSTK500 board. I have a couple of projects in mind already, and as I always do, I jump in head first and learn how to swim while drowning :-) So, if anyone is familiar with the setup I have going here, I may need to bend your ear a bit till I get up and running. I am hoping it will go as smooth as my experience with the PICAXE, but you never know with these sorts of things. Anyway, hello and I sure would appreciate any and all help. Thanks Chris
