Sorry, won't work.

ICs work by having *MAGIC* smoke inside them. Each type of chip has a 
different magic incantation.

If you put the wrong type of magic smoke in a chip the magic will get 
all muddled up and anything can happen.

If you put ordinary smoke in a chip then any of the original magic that 
remains will be dispersed and your chip will do absolutely nothing.

Stands to reason uh?
