If you get a new butterfly then you can use it as an ISP
using Buttload to fix your existing unit (provided you
don't kill the new one in the process :-( ). Does anyone
you  know have a programmer?

Hi John, Tim and Ivan,

Thanks for your advice.  I actually have an Ecros Ice Cube JTAG 
programmer (that I havn't used yet).  Seems like I should be able to 
fix the problem!

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
