If you download WinAvr (www.avrfeaks.net) the GCC c compiler tool set, it
comes with a programmer called "AvrDude" In the configuration file for
AvrDude, you will find the wiring for about a dozen different LPT port
programmer cables. It is pretty obvious how they work.

Alternatively, you can get the evaluation copy of BASCOM basic compiler
(www.mcselec.com) and read the help file to find the "SAMPLE" programmer.
It is really easy to build (take LPT cable, cut off one end, hook the proper
4 wires to your chip...) and works with AvrDude, in case you use GCC tools.

Salam Amir!
           visit the website www.lancos.com.
Pony Prog is the best programmer, i have used it with
success.Different hardwares are available that work
with this software.I use the parallel port programmer
which is very simple and reliable. It is based on a
single 74HC244.It is availabel on the same website.
Personally i prefer the PIC microcontrollers.

hi.

as Wassim said, you can use ponyprog, but it is slow,
but powerfull. but if you want a fast and easy command
line programmer, use the following link. it works with
the STK200 parallel programmer (which pony uses it)
also.

ln.com.ua/~real/avreal/index_e.html

or u can use uisp, or also avrdude in WinAVR package.

good luck.

asslam-o-alikum
Thank you Waseem for your mail. I have tried your
every suggestion but could not get any response from
controller. I one thing which I have forgot to told u
is that first time when I powered the programmer and
first I run the erase command this command run
successfully then give read command this also run
successfully, then I switch off the power of
programmer, and when switch on the power second time
and give these commands nothing was happen till now.
So please told me is there any lock bit or
programmable fuse bit which incorrectly set and due
to this any further operation on controller is stop
although I have not to program any lock bit or
programmable fuse. So please give me your suggestion.
Thank you
Regards
Amir

Hi.

I had a problem like this on ATmega323 which I solved
it using an ALL-11 Universal programmer and changed
the fuse bits of it to use external resonator. the
problem solved, but I dont know what your problem
actually is or in which way you can solve it.
