i want  OBDII  lcd  with ATmega16 and  ELM323,who  is work with OBDII

I have developed a reader for the japanese version. Can't remember the 
the spec name. The ELM232 is not necesaray if you use a micro-controller 
in the circuit, the interfaces for all the other variants of OBD2 are 
published as simple transistor circuits to interface back to an RS232 
interface on a laptop with odd speeds without needing a 
micro-controller, just keep on looking.

Hello Andrew,

I'm interested in reading the Japanese OBD messages.
Would you please let me know how did you develop such reader?
I've experience to get the vehicle signales from the ECU and
CAN messages using CAN232 device.
