What do you propose to do with the IBIS file? I don't think it will help in any way for programming. As far as I know, IBIS is for a system-level simulation: http://download.micron.com/pdf/technotes/TN0007.pdf It is SPICE-like but includes circuits with very complex logic devices such as micros, CPLD, etc. You can describe the internal functionality of a device (the "code" it runs) but it is designed to describe voltages and currents with respect to time in circuits. It is often used with professional software packages such as MentorGraphics with system-level simulation. i figered it out but coudnt find out how can prevent app. from deleting files(including hex file). i thought if might be possible to write it directly into atmega16 ic but i think my programmer is corrupted and therefore didnt result. could u please perform it and if done successfully inform me and send me .hex file. thank u again --- Thomas Keller <tjkeller1@alltel.net> wrote: > I downloaded the IBIS file for thr ATtiny25, but I > cannot figure out > where it shou;ld be place d in my filesystem. > presumably somewhere > under AVR Studio, but where? > > tom > > ____________________________________________________________________________________ Bored stiff? Thanks, Jim. Any pointers to open source packages that could make use of IBIS files? tom Jim Wagner wrote:
